The new working paper summarizes the presentations held at our CBWNet conference “Norm Contestation and Compliance: The Prohibition of Chemical and Biological Weapons”, which took place in Frankfurt am Main on 22–23 October 2025. The conference examined both contestation and compliance issues concerning chemical weapons and riot control agents, alongside conceptual reflections on compliance with CBW norms.
